This website is intended to serve multiple functions:
1. To provide information about wrestling for children (and their
parents) who are new to the sport.
2. To provide information about various types of events and
competitions that are appropriate for young wrestlers.
(One section of the site lists the full season of tournaments
sanctioned by SCPYWO; another section serves as a Bulletin Board of
scrimmages, clinics, non- sanctioned tournaments, and other events of
interest, including Junior High, High School, and College
competitions.)
3. To provide a convenient mechanism for teams to enter their wrestlers
into various types of tournaments.
(This function is accessible only to Coaches, who are responsible for
maintaining the records and tournament registrations for their team
members.)
4. To provide instantly updated information for hosts of tournaments on
the wrestlers who have registered for the event.
(This function is accessible only to the Tournament Director from the
host school.)
5. To provide a means of communication (through the Contact SCPYWO section) for parents, coaches, and wrestlers to share ideas or concerns.
