SCPYWO has developed an interactive website to facilitate registrations in tournaments hosted by Member Programs. This Agreement is intended to clarify the roles and responsibilities of this system.
The website will feature a list of tournaments that are "sanctioned" by SCPYWO. To achieve this designation, the host program agrees to accept "electronic" registrations by member programs through the website. A standard fee ($10) will be charged for wrestler entries, and a standard admission fee ($3 Adult/$1 Child) will be charged for spectators.
Member Programs that register wrestlers into tournaments by the website guarantee payment of the entry fees for all team members listed as of 9:00PM three days before the event (e.g. Wednesday night for a Saturday tournament); wrestlers may be entered or withdrawn freely prior to that time. This bulk entry fee is payable on the morning of the event.
Two types of financial and administrative arrangements are offered for santioned tournaments. Formats may vary, but "Option A" will generally be utilized for "Traditional Tournaments" (i.e. large brackets grouped by age and weight), while "Option B" will generally be utilized for "Classification Tournaments" (i.e. small brackets grouped by age, weight and skill level). Please mark your choice when you complete the Member Program Tournament Information questionnaire.
"Option A": Financial/Administrative Independence form SCPYWO
Host Program tetain all income (including entry fees, admission gate, concession sales)
Host Program pay all overhead cost (including awards and referees)
Tournament administered entirely by Host Program (including bracketing and head table)
"Mail-In Entries" may be accepted from member and non-member programs; fees for these non-electronic registrations area at the discretion of the Host Program (e.g. $12 or $15)
These events have no affiliation with SCPYWO's profit sharing program
"Option B": Financial/Administrative Partnership with SCPYWO
SCPYWO retains all entry fees; Host program retains all other income (gate, concessions)
SCPYWO pays for awards and referees
SCPYWO performs bracketing and head table responsibilities (including making out bout sheets and managing wall charts)
Host programs provides announcer, runners, gate attendants, and personnel for scoring tables. All registrations are by Member Programs, electronically through Web site (i.e. no "mail-ins")
"Profits" generated by SCPYWO will be shared by member programs in proportion to their participation in these "Option B" events.
